CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are a popular option at AIYANA aesthetics that can be a stepping stone into deeper skin treatments. We love our iS CLINICAL chemical peels as the results are unparalleled, and the peeling is abundant. The results speak for themselves. A series of 3 to 6 peels are ideal for getting the best results. So, what differentiates one chemical peel from another? Superficial peels or light peels use acids such as alpha-hydroxy to exfoliate the skin gently. This peel is only acting on the top layer of the skin. Medium peels use TCA, glycolic acid, or a mixture of salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol to remove damaged skin cells. These peels reach the middle and outer layers of the skin.

Chemical Peels FAQs

A Chemical Peel essentially utilizes four different acids to break down the epidermis, or the top layer of the skin, containing many dead skin cells and pigmentation.
After the peel is applied, it takes around 2-4 days to notice a good amount of peeling skin.
You might have some redness or erythema, but the peeling will be manageable by utilizing the iS CLINICAL shield and sunscreen.
After day 5, the peeling should have subsided, and by day seven, you can return to your regular skincare routine.
What we love about chemical peels is their ability to refresh the whole face, to give your skin that desired glow and smooth texture, as well as fight off those pesky blemishes.

It is a game-changer for those with acne, uneven skin tone, and undesired skin texture. Talk about an all-over facial rejuvenation. As always, a series of 3 to 6 is recommended and advised to get optimal results.
