With so many different facials out there, how do you know where to start? Are facials even beneficial for skin health and anti-aging or are they just a gimmicky sales tactic? Facial Benefits

Let’s start with the basics. Facials have many benefits and it starts with a relaxing experience that reduces stress. What’s not to love then having a calming spa treatment? Other benefits include, but not limited to, cleansing the skin, prevent aging, promoting blood circulation, rejuvenating, detoxifying the skin, treating acne and acne scarring and eliminate comodones (blackheads) and pustules (whiteheads). With so many benefits, it’s no wonder facials are a great spa treatment offering.

Facial FAQs

Should I expect breakouts after my facial service? This depends on your skin and how it may react to different facial treatments. With our facials, the majority of clients do not experience a breakout. However, with clients that have acne prone skin, the peels may cause some “purging,” which in turn can lead to a breakout of small pustules. This is actually a good thing and something that we want congested skin to do so that it can rid itself of the buildup. You will end up with beautiful, glowing, acne free skin!

What product line do you use in your facial services? The majority of our facials include products exclusively from iS CLINICAL. However, we also utilized Estemax Hydrojelly masks as they are one of our favorite facial offerings with great benefits and results.

What should I expect after my facial service? With all our facials, you will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Your skin will look hydrated, healthy and glowing. You will love the way your skin looks after your facial. Most facials are recommended once per month to keep a healthy skin care regimen.

Is it okay to have a facial before a special event? Yes. Facials leave your skin glowing, healthy and hydrated. We have facials that are just for big events and will give you the best results for your big day.

Can I wear makeup to my facial appointment? Sure. We do prefer for you to come makeup free, however, if that is not an option, a deep cleansing is always part of our facial treatment.

Should I avoid putting on makeup/cosmetics after my facial? That is not necessary. After your facial, your face is ready for makeup/cosmetics. The only time it is not okay is after a chemical peel or microneedling.

What if I have sensitive skin? Can I still have a facial? Yes. Our facials are tailored for your specific skin type. Just let us know by filling out the forms required and discussing this with your provider/esthetician the day of your facial. We will ensure the perfect facial to match your skin type.

Should I have a facial service if I am pregnant or nursing? Yes. We have certain facials that are just for our Moms out there, so be sure to check out our treatment service menu.

 

AIYANA Facial Treatments

Let’s break down the facial offerings we currently have at AIYANA aesthetics. Each one of them is customized to our clients individual needs. They are specific for different skin concerns and can be modified as needed by the provider/esthetician. Keep in mind that our facials are a spa treatment and each one will provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The skincare products we use during our facials include iS CLINICAL and Hydrojelly masks. What we love about iS CLINICAL is their peptides, antioxidants and extremozyme protection. Read more about iS CLINICAL skincare here.

We chose Hydrojelly masks because they contain electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, phosphorus, bicarbonate, and sodium pyrophosphate which is infused into the skin, increasing its ability retain moisture and proper hydration. They are made of algae, which is a great collagen boosting natural product. They are customized to our clients needs depending on acne concerns, inflammatory conditions, collagen boosting, antioxidant needs, etc.

AIYANA Essential

Designed to address individual skin care needs, this facial will refresh the skin with a gentile exfoliation. The iS CLINICAL Fire & Ice facial is perfect for this. A relaxing treatment utilizing  steam, a warming and cooling mask, and a neck and shoulder massage. This facial is just what you need for a relaxing spa experience.

AIYANA Clear

Designed to address blemishes and skin impurities, this facial is for you. You will experience deep cleansing with a steam treatment, followed by mechanical extractions/ultrasonic facial application, stimulating massage, and a spot-diminishing Hydrojelly mask leaving you with beautiful, clear skin. The facial ends with LED light therapy specifically targeted to reduce blemishes and pore size.

AIYANA Enzyme

Papaya and pineapple enzymes exfoliate and deep- clean, leaving polished radiant skin. You will experience deep cleansing with a steam treatment, followed by mechanical extractions, enzymatic foaming mask, stimulating massage. This facial is finished with LED light therapy specifically targeted to reduce bacteria that causes irregularities.

AIYANA Youth

Designed to address aging skin, this facial is reinvigorating, restorative and collagen stimulating. You will experience deep cleansing with a steam treatment, followed by mechanical/ultrasonic extractions, rejuvenating cooling mask, stimulating massage, and a collagen infusing Hydrojelly application. This facial ends with LED light therapy specifically targeted to provide anti-aging benefits and to lock in that glow.

AIYANA P2 Peel

The PRODIGY PEEL “P2” SYSTEM targets multiple skin concerns ranging from mild to moderate aging, mild acne, and pigment irregularities. Because of its innovative formulation design, there is a decreased chance of pigment irregularities. Optimal, cumulative improvements will be noted after administering a series or treatments.

AIYANA P3 Peel

The Prodigy Peel “P3” System provides a medium-depth chemical peel, which results in a brighter and more youthful complexion. This chemical peel works to target skin laxity, acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture. It is particularly beneficial to individuals with hyperpigmentation, aging, and blemish-prone skin. Optimal, cumulative improvements will be noted after administering a series or treatments.
